Sticker-On Installation Guide

Let your members turn uploaded images into stickers, build personal sticker collections, save stickers they like, and use them across supported areas of your platform. This guide covers installation, configuration, and basic usage.

Requirements

Platform A compatible Sngine installation.
Database Access to the database used by your Sngine installation.
Website Access File Manager, FTP, or SFTP access to your website.
Administrator Administrator access for installation, configuration, and testing.

Before you begin: Create a complete backup of your website files and database. This is strongly recommended before installing any extension.

What's Included

The Sticker-On package contains the components required to install and operate the feature on your platform.

Sticker Creation Allow members to create stickers from supported uploaded images.
My Stickers Give users a personal collection of stickers they have created.
Saved Stickers Allow users to save stickers created by other members.
Administration Provide administrators with controls for managing the feature.

The package contains the required integration components. Normal installation does not require you to modify the addon source code.

Installation

Upload the package

Upload the Sticker-On package to the appropriate addon location in your Sngine installation using your preferred file manager, FTP, or SFTP client.

Upload only the supplied Sticker-On package. Do not replace your existing addon directory or unrelated files.

Install the database setup

If your package includes an installation SQL file, import it into the same database used by your Sngine installation.

Wait for the import to complete successfully before continuing.

Make sure you select the correct website database. Do not import the installation file into an unrelated database.

Install the theme components

Copy the supplied theme components into the appropriate locations for your active Sngine theme.

These components provide the interface required for creating, viewing, saving, and managing stickers.

If your theme has been heavily customized, create a backup before replacing or merging existing theme files.

Complete the integration

Complete the integration step included with your Sticker-On package. This connects the addon with the supported areas of your platform.

Follow the version-specific instructions supplied with your package.

Do not make additional changes to your Sngine installation beyond the steps required by the Sticker-On documentation.

Clear cache and test

Clear your website and browser cache where applicable. Log in as an administrator and verify that Sticker-On is available and functioning correctly.

Using Sticker-On

Create a Sticker

Open the Sticker-On interface, select the create option, choose a supported image, and confirm the sticker creation.

My Stickers

Your created stickers are available from your personal sticker collection for convenient reuse.

Save Stickers

Users can save stickers created by other members and access them later from their saved collection.

Use Stickers

Available stickers can be used in the supported posting, commenting, and messaging areas of the platform.

Administration & Settings

Sticker-On includes an administrative control that allows authorized administrators to manage the availability of the feature.
